In the development of our systems we use «MetaXLib» RAD-platform (Rapid Application Development) which was born from a need we had in our own development process.

MetaXLib is an open source application platform designed to foster rapid development of business applications. It is a flexible and expandable system with a user-friendly interface and a large number of modules and functions.

The platform provides developers with a broad set of tools for building applications, such as: access to the database independent from the database server; automatic generation of user interfaces; MVC-model; AJAX-support; user sessions; cookies; multi-language support; and many others.

In addition, the platform comes with a free application framework built using the platform. The framework takes care of the standard things which accompany the development of any program, such as: user registration; user privileges; administration section; email notification to developers about any errors; and much more.

MetaXLib will soon be released to the public as an Open Source project, distributed under GNU GPL. It will be available for PHP, Java and Delphi.
